ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

QUALIFICATIONS:    

• Master’s Degree;
• Texas Principal or Mid-Management Certification;
• T-TESS Certified
• Administrative experience and instructional leadership background desired;
• Ability to evaluate instructional programs and teacher effectiveness;
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Proven skills in public relations, staff development, and school planning;
• Proven ability to work effectively with students and community in a diverse population;
• Knowledge of and ability to promote academic UIL competition;
• Ability to manage budget and personnel;
• Extremely computer literate;
• Knowledge of best innovative educational practices;
• Knowledge of rigorous, engaging curriculum and instruction;
• Ability to model technology integration;
• Knowledge of staffing and scheduling;
• Proven successful discipline strategies; and
• Availability to work evenings and weekends

 

SALARY:                     Board approved pay scale

 

CONTRACT:                12 month

 

PAID BENEFITS:         $500 towards Medical; Full Dental, Life, Accidental Death, Long-Term Disability, Vision
